Client: LOCO Film Festival / Rachel King / Crank Theatre
Brief: I drew an inky carving knife and fork and marker penned some grapes and garlics for this photograph by Rachel King. Rachel photographed a series of portraits called 'The Face of Satire' for the LOCO Film Festival. These were exhibited at the BFI. On the day Michael Pennington (aka Johnny Vegas) let us into his home, stripped for strangers and then kneeled on his dining room table for us, for quite some time. The man has knees of steel as they say, and a lovely heart, he was charming. It was a start to a week I'm not going to forget in a hurry.
